The Arctic supports a nearly completely different ecosystem, harboring more creatures and plants adapted to the colder temperatures. However, this is only a very small area of the planet, located in a dormant volcanic crater, approximately 2km in diameter. The Crater features a full ecosystem of flora and fauna. The Aurora is located a few meters above the surface, in relatively shallow water. The known planet is almost completely covered in water, except for a few islands, and features a variety of submerged biomes. There are three known major ecosystems on the planet: the Crater, Sector Zero, and the Dead Zone, the latter of which covers the majority of the planet. It also harbors two moons, one being very close to the planet, causing frequent solar eclipses. Planet 4546B itself is a water planet smaller than Earth with a breathable oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere. There are at least ten other celestial bodies in the system, each of which is larger than Earth's Moon. The “B” means that 4546B was the first planet discovered around the star 4546 (or 4546A). Shortly after the transfer is complete, the Sanctuary's power completely fails, and the Containment Cube falls to pieces.Planet 4546B is located in the outer reaches of the Ariadne Arm, orbiting around the star 4546. Located at the back of the room is a small ramp leading up to the Consciousness Transfer Device, which allows Robin to download Al-An's Consciousness. An Architect Containment Cube containing Al-An's conciousness can be seen suspended in mid-air in the center of the chamber.
The Main Feature of the Sanctuary, the Cube room is where Al-An resides. At the far end of the cavern is a corridor Leading up to the Cube Room.ģ Ion Cubes can be found in the corridor leading into the Cube Room.
Water can be seen leaking from the top of the cavern. The area leading up to the Cube Room is a large cavern with several bridges, one of which has been destroyed by a large boulder. The Sanctuary then powers down, and Robin exits with Al-An still in her brain. Robin attempts to save Al-An by downloading him onto her PDA, but accidentally downloads him into her brain.
An announcement from the Sanctuary reveals that the facility's power is low, and that Al-An will die if not removed from the Sanctuary.
When Robin enters the facility, she encounters Al-An. After receiving an Alien Transmission from the Sanctuary, Robin attempts to locate the facility and discover the source. Sanctuary Zero is a location that Robin Ayou visits while she is stranded in Sector Zero.
